  1. Creating the Right Home-Space for Yoga On account of the pandemic, we find ourselves in the house more often than usual. Staying- in can be fun but everything seems mundane after a while. Since we can’t head out for a workout and risk falling ill, we must ensure to care for our health from the comfort of our homes. You will find it exceptionally easy and tempting to slack off and binge Netflix through the day but I must advise you to resist such temptations and inculcate discipline into your routine. Doing a 20-minute yoga workout from home is not a great feat but might just be what you need to get started. You can easily find a guide by signing up for an online yoga workout session so we won’t be making any excuses. Let’s look at some of the things you can do to help ease into a regular practice of Yoga. 1. Pick The Right Spot – Find a spot where you can lay out a yoga mat, sit down in peace & quiet and get your workout in. It is essential to pick and stick to a spot since it has a neural effect in the brain. Every time you pass by your practise area you are subconsciously reminded about your last session and that helps create a healthy habit, keeping you on your toes and always wanting to progress. 2. Auditory Stimuli – Put on your workout playlist and jump right into it. Research has shown that nothing motivates a person to push through their workouts and create a regular habit more than their favorite music. 3. House Plants – There are many indoor plants like Snake Plants, Peace Lily and Devil’s Ivy that are known to purify the air and create an aura of wellbeing in the

  2. house. An added benefit to having house plants is the increased amount of greenery which helps calm the mind and increase focus. We would love to hear your thoughts and get your ideas on how we can create a better home environment for practising Yoga so let us know what you think in the comments below!
