  1. Recycling Within The Home With Easy Things

  2. Have you ever been walking through your home only to notice something is damaged or in need of repair? It could be something small or cosmetic that is more of an irritation than anything else, or it could be more than that like a ripped sheet or a broken chair leg. For most people, that first instinct is to pack it up and throw it out, they have no need for something that's damaged. However, if you just throw something like that out then you're missing out on a golden opportunity to do something great for yourself and the environment as well. Recycling things inside your home is a great way to find new uses for things that you no longer want or need for any reason.

  3. Unless the item is far too damaged to be reused or repurposed, there's most likely lots of life still left in the object as a whole or, more importantly, its parts. When we throw away, for example, a damaged chair, we're not just tossing out a broken piece of furniture. We're throwing away a fresh set of replacement parts for another chair in the set. We're also throwing out scrap wood or metal for a crafts or art project. We could also just as easily be throwing out free kindling for a backyard campfire. When you look at something you plan on getting rid of, look at the individual pieces and ask yourself “Can I still use at least some of this?”.

  4. An amazing example of reusing materials in your home is with any sheets or cloth you no longer use. Whether it's a stubborn stain you can't get rid of or a rip/tear in the fabric, there's still plenty of use. You could always sew up the edges and make fabric shower curtains India out of it. If it's a stain, make tie-die fabric shower curtains instead and nobody will be able to tell the difference! With rips, there's very little you can't end up doing with it. If you have kids, resize the sheet for their bed (or beds if the sheet is large enough). Alternatively, there's almost always an arts and crafts application for reused items, from painting a cloth flag for a fort to adding some flair to a superhero cape. Just use your imagination a little bit and finding a re-use should be little to no problem at all.

  5. Going green in a time when the environment is such an issue isn't nearly as difficult or expensive as some would think. It's often as simple as making small changes and going out of your way to recycle things that would normally have found their way into the trash bin. The next time you're thinking of just tossing something out, look past the damage and past the entire object, instead look at the valuable resources you're throwing away. Your guests will be just as envious of your new green mentality as they are of your snazzy new fabric shower curtains.

  6. Designer fabric shower curtains can make almost any bathroom look amazing. Even kids can appreciate a beautiful curtain because colors affect our emotional states. Some popular colors include blue, black and white, purple, yellow, gray and of course for girls, pink. Good curtains are a luxury that keeps you waterproof and they can even be cheap if you find them at a unique discount from an online retailer.
