  1. EQUINOX INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS CENTER PILATES THERAPY

  2. PHYSICAL THERAPY PILATES EXERCISES Pilates is a conditioning routine that can help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominal, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates’ system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advance. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. Our Certified Pilates Instructors focus on taking the patients from pain and weakness to pain-free and strong utilizing many of the features and benefits of Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates under our clinician’s supervision. Our many years of experience in Physical therapy uses specially designed Pilates exercises and state-of-the-art Peak Performance Reformer and Tower equipment to help patients regain and improve their physical abilities, allowing the patients to return to normal activities of daily living and works. Our office utilizes many non- invasive, injury-specific rehabilitative modalities, manual and massage work as well as personal and customized exercises to achieve the ultimate goal: WELLNESS!
