Xovoltib 50mg belongs to quinazoline and butanamide derivative which acts as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptors (ERBB RECEPTORS) and is used in the treatment of metastatic NON-SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER. • Xovoltib 50mg is a prescription drugs which is used under the guidance of medical practioners. Xovoltib 50mg tablet (Afanitib)

  3. Xovoltib 50mg is indicated for treatment a certain type of lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer) which has spread to other parts of the body. STORAGE • Xovoltib50mg Store at 25℃. • Keep Xovoltib 50mg away from children. INDICATION

  4. For adult : • The prescribed dose is 40mg taken once per day. For child dosage : • Ages of 0-17 years is not being studied in children. The drug should not be used age under 18 years of age For renal impairment: • prescribed dose is 30mg taken once per dayTake Xovoltib on an empty stomach. Consume the drug 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal  DOSAGE

  5. Xovoltib 20mg blocking the activating sites called tyrosine kinases of various proteins within the cell. • These proteins are most likely to develop cancer growth when the tumor includes the EGFR gene mutation. • By stopping these targets, it will target the cancer will shrink. MECHANISM

  6. Diarrhae: • During your treatment with Xovoltib 50mg, your doctor should also to treat diarrhea primarily. Hepatic toxicity : • Xovoltib50mg can worsen liver problems. Doctor will take blood tests to monitor the liver function before and during your treatment with this drug. Embryo-fetal toxicity: • Xovoltib 50mg will cause harm to the foetus when administrated to pregnant women. PRECAUTIONS

  7. Concomitant of Xovoltib 50mg with P-gpinhibitors (cyclosporine A, ketoconazole verapamil) will increase exposure to Afatinib • Interaction of Xovoltib 50mg with P-gpinducers (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital) will decrease exposure to Afatinib DRUG INTERACTION

  8. Loss of appetite • Nausea • Vomiting • Diarrhoea • Mouth sores • Acne • Itchiness • Rash • Dry skin • Nail infection SIDE EFFECTS

  9. Breathing trouble • Cough and fever • Yellowing the skins • Brown coloured urine • Bleeding or bruising • Weakness • Blurred vision • Fast heartbeat Serious side effects
