  1. The common signs of approaching labor Increase in discharge Many women experience vaginal discharge, but during labor, the discharge increases, appearing brownish and pinkish in color. Pelvic pressure Women experience pressure in their vagina or pelvis due to ‘lighting’, the time when the baby drops down from the abdomen. Water breaking One of the most common signs of labor appears a day before delivery when the amniotic sac ruptures and releases the fluid inside. Low back pain Acute back pain is a sign of labor. If the pain is extremely painful and is happening in the back, it is considered a sign of labor. More trips to the bathroom If you are taking more trips to the bathroom with a loose or frequent bowel movement, consider it a good explanation of approaching labor. www.drelsa.net www. dr el sa. net
