  1. No matter, how trustworthy your dog is, but when you have a toddler in your home, you need to follow some precautions as well. Dogs are known for being pretty understandable but it often is seen that they act differently around babies. Maybe they give their extra concern or feared on seeing a new member in the house. Whatever they react, a dog parent must need to more cautious and protective while they own a tiny new human member in the house. You can’t predict when your dog will behave as aggressive or enthusiastic. But with a little lack of concern, any mishappening can be done. Your love for your dog can be remarkable but poor knowledge or any lack of education will lead you to a big loss. So, when you have a human baby and dog together in the house, here are some rules you need to follow strictly: 1) Never put your furry pet and crawling child together on the floor because you never know when a frightened or startled dog or even your baby could react in a way that might cause harm to each other. 2) It is not a good idea to get busy with other things and stop paying attention to what our pets and children are doing. It is advisable to always be attentive while your kids and dog playing together. 3) Do not allow your children to hit hard to your pooch or throw toys while they are not in the mood. They will get aggressive easily on this. 4) Train your dog to behave well with your newborn so that he/ she might not feel fearful while seeing the baby. 5) Teach your children not to take away anything from the dog’s mouth. It makes them angry and they can bite the other over it. 6) Never let your toddler and dog lay on the same bed as it is full of germs. This leads your young one to serious health issues.

  2. 7) Do not let your baby go around the doggy poop especially when both playing outside garden. 8) You can put safety gates to keep your pet and children apart. It also helps keep your kid away from the dog food or litter. You cannot take a risk to leave your dog unattended with an unfamiliar person, and more importantly when that person is your own baby. You should take care of some cautions for the safety of your child so that he/ she will not hurt as well as your pooch friend.
