  3. begun during the 1986-87 school year beginning spring 2006, program was expanded to include the Leary School Job Site, Loudoun County (LSJS,LC). allows a selected group of students to attend school in a very nontraditional manner Job Site students spend their entire day and receive all their educational and vocational schooling at a job site nearby. Job Site Program

  4. 1st Job Site Project Completed Spring of 1989 - Arnet Street, Fairfax

  5. During the spring of 2006, the program was expanded to include a new program near Leesburg, Virginia: the Leary School Job Site, Loudoun County (LSJS,LC). Loudoun County Before After

  6. Students spend half the day receiving academic instruction and learn the construction trades during the remainder of the day. Students learn about carpentry, engineering, plumbing, landscaping, electrical wiring, and all aspects of new home construction by actually building real houses and earn an hourly wage. The School Day

  7. A complete staff is assigned to the program, including a classroom teacher, full-time teaching assistant, counselor, vocational instructors, and a vocational assistant. Individual and group counseling, physical education, speech/occupational therapy and case management are delivered on-site. Services Provided
