  1. With the advancement of technology, many technical tools and processes have been developed for various machine system applications. For industrial cutting, cemented carbide is the most useful tool that is used today. The advanced cutting tool is made from the combination of cobalt and tungsten carbide. The appropriate combination of these metals achieves the toughness of the cutting tool. The Diamond Coating over the cemented carbide increases the wear resistance of the cutting tool considerably. Additionally, it provides further toughness to the tool. CVD Coating is the thin film surface, found on the machine tools, instrumentation, and wear components and on other components. The high performance of the environment-friendly film over the surface of the instruments increases the demand for the film in industrial sectors. CVD stands for chemical vapor deposition, the process is generally carried out in a vacuum, and the coating material builds on the surface of the instrument. The characteristics of the coating process make it popular in various industrial sectors. For facilitating the reaction, the temperature is applied. Various contaminants should be removed from the surface of the instruments on which the film is going to be. A superior adhesion is bonded over the surface during the process.

  2. The coating gas ensures the coating of the whole surface. It has high adhesion character. The coating can withstand both extremely high and low temperature. The coat can be applied to a large variety of base materials such as metal alloy, glass, ceramic, etc. The coating gas is optimized to make the film wear resistance. Considering the characteristics of the CVD process, the cutting tools are coated with this coat. It provides further toughness to the instrument as well as makes it wear resistance. So, most of the mechanical industry adopt the process for their instruments.
