When I go backpacking in Hawaii, I love getting away from the crowds and exploring remote areas that few travelers ever see. Here are some of my favorite things to do in Hawaii: ◦ Hike the Waimea Canyon State Park ◦ When you're in Hawaii, there are many things to do. One of the best things to do is hike the Waimea Canyon State Park. The park has many trails and each one offers spectacular views of the island. There are guided tours available if you don't want to hike yourself but if you want an adventure and want a great workout then try hiking one of these trails: The Pipeline Trail - This trail starts at Kokee Lodge and ends at Waipoo Falls (about 4 miles). If you're looking for something shorter or easier than this is perfect because it has lots of switchbacks so it's not too steep but still gives great views! • The Nualolo Kai Trail - This trail starts near Kokee Lodge (about 1 mile) and goes all the way down into Kaupoa Valley where there's another waterfall called Puu Ohia Falls! This hike only takes about 2 hours but could take longer depending on how long you spend at each stop along the way :) •
