  1. Dog Art Photography: Few Tips to Let Your Dog’s Inner Model Shine The best fact about photographing pets is that their soulful eyes and expressions come out so naturally and without any pretence. Although, one thing we need to remember here is we need someone expert enough to understand those emotions and tweak it suitably before clicking that million-dollar expression. So, an experienced dog photographer or pet photographer is the need of the hour. However, with an expert photographer behind the camera, it is not an easy prospect. So, here are some tips that might help. Give them time Animals do not operate as humans. They have their time frame, they are not always influenced by work schedules or time, except maybe when it comes to their sustenance. So, ensure you are doing it at their pace, and not at your pace to make it a perfect shot! Get them to relax It is not always fur balls for cats or bones and sticks for dogs anymore. They need someplace where they enjoy, like the park or backyard or somewhere where they are comfortable. Get them there and let them relax before clicking away those moments. It may not always be easier – there are good and bad days for them too. But, if you can get them to relax a bit, you might still get some work done on that scheduled hour or time. Candid shots work better If you are planning to let your dog show a perfect pose for the photograph, then you are in for a surprise. Pets do not stay still for an hour or neither do they like to pose. Well, some may be an exception, but definitely, a majority of them would just like to relax. So, go for candid shots that are natural and easy to shoot. Capture the expressions through their eyes As they say, eyes are the keys to the soul. It works truly especially for the dogs who cannot let us know their feelings any other way. So, ensure the photographs are shot with more emphasis and attention to the eyes to capture their real expression. Plan ahead Plan your photoshoot in such a way that the dogs are relaxed, happy and have had their tummy full of food to ensure they are happy and ready to play. That is when you will have the best expressions for free and even without any prompting. Although prompting can never help – spontaneity is the key for best dog art photography to come through perfectly!
