  1. New Angular 8features would encourage Angular Developers to upgrade the Framework

  2. Introduction Angular has come up as a great front-end JavaScript framework which us becoming popular in comparison to React.js framework. The framework was released in 2009 as a version to be explored by the developers but it had many flaws that needed attention. These flaws included – its huge bundle size, the complex debugging part, minification of code, complex logic implementation and performance issues.

  3. Introduction To solve these issues, the 2nd version of Angular JS was launched and still many performance and technical bugs were cleared with time till its performance became capable to the Java development services. With the various perks of JavaScript language, the Angular.js framework became popular as a great front-end solution. Now with the launch of Angular 8 framework, there are a new bunch of features that are added to the regime and they are surely going to impress the developers and cause them to upgrade for the new platform. So, the new list of features for Angular 8 framework are:

  4. Increased performance of Ivy Rendering Engine This will make the programs compile faster and more accurately. Bug solving also becomes easy and smarter UI solutions can be implemented.

  5. Differential Loading Now the apps built on Angular 8 framework will perform better owing to the modern JavaScript. Differential loading helps the new Angular 8 apps differentiate between the bundles for modern JavaScript and legacy JavaScript.

  6. Angular Router Backwards Compatibility Now with the backward compatibility feature of Angular 8 developers will be able to route the upgrade path for large projects and offer path to lazy loading.

  7. Bazel Support With the Bazel support Angular 8 applications will allow developers to build CLI applications. Bazel allows developers to code the front-end and the backend development with the same tool.

  8. Lazy Loading The lazy loading feature allows the mobile app solutions built on Angular 8 framework to load faster as the large files are loaded lazily now and other files and elements are displayed in time.  

  9. Opt –In Usage Sharing Opt-in sharing will be the new feature for Angular CLI to keep the efforts of developers aligned with the community’s needs. This feature allows developers opt-in to sharing telemetry about Angular CLI usage with the rest of the Angular team.

  10. Builders API One of the most important features of Angular 8 is Builder’s API. It is used for important tasks like serve, build, test, lint and e2e. These tasks decide the logic and the response from a code and it is now made efficient with the new Angular 8 version.

  11. Conclusion Along with this, there are some basic upgrades in the new Angular 8 version and this might turn out to be a great turning point in increasing the popularity of Angular.js in comparison to other frameworks of JavaScript or common frameworks used in Java development services.
