  2. PRESENTATION OVERVIEW About blender Manipulating Objects Transforming Objects Transforming method Editing Objects In Edit Mode Selecting Vertices, Edges And Faces Transforming Edge, Vertices, And Faces Changing The Object Origin Applying Material And Unwrapping The Meshg Creating The Texture Exporting The Files

  3. ABOUT BLENDER 01 Blender is one of the 3D applications. First, it includes the concepts of blender setup, adding and transforming objects in object code, then editing and much more. Like the other 3D modeling tools, blender is a graphically intensive application which gives more interesting concepts in blender training. Blender has certain basic set up; once you have installed the blender in your computer launch, it will be greeted by the splash screen.

  4. MANIPULATING OBJECTS 02 Most tulips sprout a single flower bud, but a few varieties have up to four on a single stem.  For selecting the object, click the right mouse button, then to deselect the object click it with the right mouse button. For toggle selecting the all the objects or no objects, press the A key; these are the steps for selecting the object.

  5. TRANSFORMING OBJECTS 03 There are three ways to transform the objects as; 1) Transforming with short keys 2) Transforming with X, Y, Z handles and 3) Transforming with properties panel

  6. TRANSFORMING METHOD 04 First way can use the shortcut keys to transform the object as Move (G), Scale (S), and Rotate (R). Then in a second way gives you the little more control by using the blue, green, and red arrows while selecting the object. While in the third method, you can get the very accurate control over the shape and size of the object.

  7. EDITING OBJECTS IN EDIT MODE 05 There are three icons that show you the little cubes and tell you in which mode you are in. The modes are vertex mode, edge mode and face mode. For adding the segments locate the loop at the loop cut and slide function at the left side of the screen and move them towards the cylinder.

  8. SELECTING VERTICES, EDGES AND FACES 06 There are three options for selecting the edges, are Box select, circle select and Lasso select. Box select allows to draw the box around the item, and in addition to this, you can use circle select just as its sounds.  You can select the circle instead of a box and can increase or decrease the radius of the selection circle by scrolling up or down. The lasso select is found to be more useful as the other process.

  9. TRANSFORMING EDGE, VERTICES, AND FACES 07 The other two icons for rotate and scale in the screen with the little arrow icon next to the red, blue and green axis.  This process is similar to transforming the entire object by using the transform handles, the shortcut keys, or the properties panel.

  10. CHANGING THE OBJECT ORIGIN 08 At this stage your mushroom will not be exactly sitting on the ground, to do the thing properly move the little mushroom bit on the XY plane.  Finally, choose the location and save the file in the perfect manner. Then for coloring the mushroom, blender is defined in three steps by applying the material, unwrapping the mesh into a 2D texture and painting on the UV wrap.

  11. APPLYING MATERIAL AND UNWRAPPING THE MESHG 09 The wrapping process can be done only in the edit mode, so enter into the edit mode to do the process. After that, drag the new window by clicking the triangle at the top right of the window. This operation needs the two windows to see the image in the 3D look by the other window while painting.

  12. CREATING THE TEXTURE 10 You need to add an image for the mesh to be mapped, to do this thing go to the 3D window and click the display icon in the bottom toolbar.  Now it will show the 3D texture as you have edited. You can add the lamps in the object mode.

  13. 11 EXPORTING THE FILES There is in need of following files in projects they are .obj file for the object data, .mat file for material information and .png or .jpg file for the texture.  click the Export object to finish the process.
