ABOUTUNIVERSITY RISU embarked upon the journey of academic excellence in 2017. Also, RISU was established under Rajasthan Government State University vide Act No. 6 of 2017. 96 skilled institutions have been granted affiliation from RISU. Moreover, from the year of 2018 these institutions began their first session. Furthermore, RISU is a sure shot innovative plan to look out for and put to action the National Skills Qualification Framework in the State. Also, it is a Government University hence, RISU is the affiliating body for a large number of institutions operating in skill and vocational training. Perhaps the vision of the institute is to widespread skill education as a whole and in a very integrated manner. The mission of the university is to be one of the best institutions in Skill education at both, National and International Level.
HISTORY RISU embarked upon the journey of academic excellence in 2017. Also, RISU was established under Rajasthan Government State University vide Act No. 6 of 2017. 96 skilled institutions have been granted affiliation from RISU. Moreover, these institutions have commenced their first session from 2018. Furthermore, RISU is an effective institutional intervention to implement the National Skills Qualification Framework in the State. Also, it is a Government University hence, RISU is the affiliating body for a large number of institutions operating in skill and vocational training. The University Grants Commission was also pleased to include the university under section 2(f) and 12 (B) of the U.G.C. Act. 1956. Consequently, the UGC funds under different schemes are being allotted to under respective plans (VIII Plan to XII plan).
RANKING • RISU is a pioneer of education in India. It similarly witnesses a massive inflow of students every year. Moreover, RISU ranks among one of the best state owned government universities in India.
INFRASTRUCTURE Library The main objective of the RISU’s library is to support the research and educational activities. Hence, the library has a vast collection of books, bound volumes of periodicals, reprints, Indexed articles, Seminar Papers, Ph.D. Theses, Journals Subscribed (Printed), Journals Subscribed (Online). In addition to that, an adequate number of computers, Wi-Fi connectivity, well-qualified library staff, and availability of demographic information sources are the strengths of the library. Medical Facilities In the first place, it recommended for an educational institution to provide excellent health services to it students. Therefore, the institute provides general health care services to all its students and staff.
INFRASTRUCTURE Auditorium Education shouldn’t restrained inside the concrete cubicles for all the years of education. The seminar hall used for conducting various co-curricular activities, including seminars and workshops. Additionally, the air-conditioned seminar hall equipped with the latest technology, such as multimedia projectors, and is architecturally designed to make interactive sessions impactful and effective. Computer Lab The university has well-equipped computer labs for the sake of practical education in computer applications. Also, it is to say that they learn the latest trends and developments in the computer world.
INFRASTRUCTURE Canteen This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while and refresh themselves. In addition, the institute provides a clean and comfortable environment where the students can enjoy their food. Moreover, the canteen serves palatable and delicious recipes to the students and staff at moderate prices. Also, RO plant purified water systems installed in all the water coolers inside the campus. Apart from the above-mentioned facilities, RISU also provides facilities namely, Sports Coaching, Gymkhana, Food and Catering Services among others.
