  2. The topic is decided based on the MIG welder and the nature of the job. Foremost, we need to have clear knowledge about which MIG welder to be used and how it’ll used to accomplish the task. There are different types of MIG welding as 1 phase, combination 1 & 3 phase, and 3 Phase. 1-Phase MIG welders are used in body shops, farms, general repairs, light fabrications and home garages. The 1 and 3 Phase MIG welders offer a little bit more resilience for welding. The 1-Phase MIG welder is also used for light manufacturing & fabrication.

  3. Advantages Higher Welding Speeds and Productivity Simple to Learn Clean and Efficient Simple and Great Welds Automated Process

  4. No fluxes required in most cases Ultra low hydrogen process Versatile Faster Welding Speed

  5. Dis-Advantages The equipment is complex Unsuitable for Outdoor Welding Higher initial setup cost Fast Cooling Rates Unsuitable for Thick Metals

  6. Shielding Gas Atmosphere surrounding the welding process has to be stable Higher maintenance costs due to extra electronic components The setting of plant variables requires a high skill level
