  1. Dr. Monique Aucoin Toronto About Dr. Monique has extensive clinical experience and advanced training in the areas of mental health and addictions. She is passionate about using stress-management as a tool for health promotion. In addition to helping people achieve their personal health goals, Monique is passionate about advancing the understanding of Naturopathic Medicine, particularly in studying the role of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of mental health disorders. As well as seeing patients in her private practice, Monique is currently a Research Fellow at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, conducting research in the form of clinical trials, literature reviews and clinical tool development. Monique has published research in many academic journals and presented her research across North America and Internationally. Read some of her recent publications. Monique is also an instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine teaching research methodology.She has recieved several awards for publications including case report competitions and the inaugural Abram Hoffer Lecture Series Award. In her free time, Monique enjoys hiking and camping (or snow shoeing) in Algonquin park, gardening, embroidery, and playing the violin. She lives in Georgetown with her husband and two young daughters.
