  2. STEPS: • Open the box where the TV tuner card is packed, you will get few cables and a remote. • Plug out the speaker jack from your sound card that is generally located at the back of the CPU cabinet. • Find the cable that has a jack similar to your speaker’s jack that was plugged with your sound card and then insert it in the place of the speaker jack into your sound card. • Another end of this cable should be plugged into the “Sound-out” socket of the TV tuner card. • Into the “Sound-in” socket of the TV tuner card, the speaker jack should be plugged.

  3. Now plug out the monitor display cable from the back of the CPU cabinet and connect it into the TV tuner card. The socket on the card looks similar to the one on the CPU cabinet. • Now, take another cable that had come packed with the TV tuner card and connect one of its ends into the monitor socket of the CPU cabinet. (The plug is similar to the plug of your monitor cable). • The other end of this cable must be plugged into the "VGA-Out" socket of the TV tuner card. • Take the power adapter came with the card and plug it into a power source. • The output cable of the power adapter needs to be plugged into the "Power-In" socket of the tuner card.

  4. The terrestrial antenna jack needs to be inserted into the antenna socket of the card. • Now, switch on the entire setup. • Then use the remote that came with the card and make sure it has proper batteries in it. • Then after pressing the power button, the desktop monitor should show some display resembling a disturbed TV transmission. • Now you can treat the setup like a regular TV and tune the channels. • If you want to continue working on your desktop then turn the TV off.
