  1. Want to Renew old Paving? Find out How! For anyone who wants their outdoors to look great, paving is the need of the hour as they look attractive and beautiful, especially when being laid for the first time but like any outdoor surface it too suffers from weathering and eventually the look becomes dull. Since most paving is laid with a fine sand grout between bricks, this allow the surface to flex and drain naturally on the other hand if the pavers are laid on mortar then they are grouted with mortar. Therefore, this eliminates weeds even when unconsolidated pavers are grouted with cement or cement-based grouts the grout crumbles over time. Pavers come in a wide variety of materials, including clay, concrete and natural stone and a variety of shapes and forms. Typically the most inexpensive materials are old house bricks and dry-formed concrete pavers, both of which are porous. For this reason they easily absorb moisture, particularly if they are laid in shady areas, which in turn encourages mould and weed growth. Mould can be very slippery when wet. Keep in mind the shape of a paver and its placement will have the greatest influence on weed growth in the gaps between bricks. The cobbled and rumbled bricks with their rounded edges have a beautiful old-fashioned cottage look, but are most likely to trap weed seeds in the large gaps and depressions. Also incorporating the wrong cleaning materials and faulty cleaning methods can spoil the look of pavements. Therefore, its important that you learn about pavers before going into cleaning. Precise, sharp-edged pavers are the least vulnerable to weeds, now if the paving is on a rural property naturally there’s more availability of grass and weed seeds to sprout in the paving. If water regularly flushes across or sits on one section it is bound to encourage growth. Every house owner knows that pavers add beauty and charm to your overall landscape. So if you have a well-maintained pavement it will ultimately reflect the beauty of your house. So its maintainence is essential as well. It would be easy to clean the pavers once you know about pavers! Resource http://www.browardpavers.com/ | (954) 554-2700 | BrowardPavers@gmail.com
