Wearing a respirator is the most effective way to save you from these harmful chemicals. Respirator filters out the hazardous vapors, gages, and fumes from being inhaled and provides a great protection while performing pest control job. You should always wear a chemical cartridge respirator while applying or mixing pesticide chemicals. Asbestos Removal Have you ever heard of mesothelioma? Mesothelioma is a certain type of cancer that is caused by asbestos exposure. Asbestos is very dangerous and it cause severe lung damage, respiratory issues and mesothelioma. You must wear N95 or N100 types of masks to protect yourself from the harmful particulates present in different types of smoke. Certain projects like clay painting, house renovation, garage dusting, wood working, sanding, etc needs a higher protection where a simple dust mask can’t help but respirator with filters certainly does. Respirator with filters/cartridges is very effective in blocking different types of dusts such as wood, concrete/silica, chalk, and rubber. These dusts are very harmful to health and silica dust can even cause cancer. For such harmful dust particles several masks comes with different rating depending on their efficiency in blocking dust type particulates.
