  1.  Republic of Kazakhstan is a country in Central Asia with a population of 17 million  Head of state: President of the Republic, elected every seven years. Current president is Nursultan Nazarbayev.  Official languages: Kazakh (state) and Russian (language of communication)  Total surface 2,7 million km²  Capital: Astana from 1997  Ethnic groups: 63.6% Kazakh, 23,3% Russian, 2,9% Uzbek, 2,0% Ukrainian, 1,4% Uighur, 1,2% Tatar, 1,1% German, 4,5% others.  The climate of Kazakhstan (excluding south) is sharply continental with average temperature between -4 °C and -19 °C in January and between +19…+26°C in July.
