  5. The Angle The word “ANGLE” comes from the LATIN word “ANGULUS” which means an ANGLE or CORNER.

  6. What is an Angle? An angle is the amount of turn, rotation or bending between two lines that meet at a point.

  9. CLOCKWISEANDANTI/COUNTERCLOCKWISE Angles give the measure of the turn between two lines in a clockwise or anticlockwise/counterclockwise direction. Clockwise Anti/Counter-Clockwise

  10. Clockwisemeans moving in the normal direction that the hands of a clock turns. Clockwise

  11. Anticlockwise/Counter clockwise means moving in the opposite direction to which the hands of a clock turns. Anti-Clockwise
