  3. FIND THE MEAN/AVERAGE OF THE FOLLOWING • The sum of a students marks in 10 tests is 360. What is his/her average mark? • The total score for Aidan’s 5 test marks is 250. What is his mean? • Mark played 6 tests matches and scored a total of 560 runs. What was his average runs for each match? • George’s total in 7 tests is 630. Calculate his mean mark scored. • Jeremiah’s 4 sets of one-cent coins adds up to 640 coins. What was the average? • The dog slept 8 hours on Monday, 10 hours on Tuesday and 15 on Wednesday. What was the average number of hours the dog slept per day? • The total rainfall for 7 days was 406mm. What is the mean rainfall during this time?
