  3. Women’s Ministry: Purpose The Women’s Ministry will be designed to: • Unite- the Christian body • Serve-humbly • Edify-God’s Holy word • Glorify-the Lord As a holistic approach is built for the well-being of the Women of High Street Baptist Church.

Women’s Ministry:Guiding Principles Fruit of the Spirit Through your Holy Spirit, Lord, we will seek to: • nurture love, • bring joy, • seek peace, • model patience, • foster kindness, • cultivate goodness, • instill gentleness, and • develop self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self –control. Against such things there is no law.

Women’s Ministry: Vision Through your Holy Spirit, Lord, we will seek to build: Mutual enjoyment … spending time to study the word and for the joy of togetherness Mutual respect … learning to be patient, kind, sincere, and compassionate Mutual trust … believing in self and others; becoming trustworthy Mutual reciprocity … receiving and giving as friendships are established Mutual prayer time … praising the Lord, repenting of sins, asking for self and others, and yielding to God’s will

Women’s Ministry: Mission • To serve humbly and unconditionally on a daily basis by making His will priority in all things • To study and glorify the word of God relentlessly • To encourage total love, fellowship and friendship as we edify God’s Holy Word • To be strong Christian servants as we work in our homes, churches and communities utilizing our spiritual gifts

  7. Women’s Ministry: Objectives • To make available an environment for women to receive support for mental, emotional, spiritual and physical healing as well as receive direction to enhance their Christian faith • To assist women in strengthening their Christian walk with Jesus Christ • To provide classes, workshops, conferences, oversee Women’s Day activities, and other duties as assigned by the Pastor • To improve and develop a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior • To be Christ-like intercessors for one another and the Church at large
