  1. Birth Certificate Attestation is mandatory before one applies for his/her child’s admission in schools abroad. Validation of birth certificate helps to prove the genuinity of the certificate. The verification must be first done from the state (home) where the certificate was issued, external affairs, further by the embassy where the applicant is seeking for school admission. Before one applies for birth certificate attestation they require a set of document to be presented while applying for attestation – Original certificate, passport copy, visa copy, two photos and authorization letter. This is an official document issued to a person’s birth and to identify them by name, place, date and parentage. It is also considered as a vital record that documents the birth of a child. The term “birth certificate” can refer to either the original document or a certified copy of or representation of the original record of birth. In most jurisdictions, the birth certificate is prima facie evidence that the birth occurred.

  2. Birth Certificate is one of the major certificates for a child to prove his date of birth, obtain admission in school, to enter into a valid employment contract etc. It is an official evidence of legal recognition of the child as a member of society. Birth Certificate Attestation is compulsory for applying a family visa or when a child needs to be taken abroad along with parents. The candidate must get their original certificates and its Xerox copies attested from the concerned State Government from where the certificate was issued then to Ministry of External Affairs and later attest the certificate by the country where you are applying for the family visa.
