  2. Anthony Raspa was born in 1990 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A lifelong Highland Park resident, he graduated from Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison, New Jersey. Anthony was a peer leader, played football and was captain of the wrestling team.

  3. Memoriam Trooper Anthony Raspa demonstrated good leadership skills that enabled him to effectively connect with his colleagues. Some of the traits he had as a born leader include integrity, transparency, positive thinking, courage, and sensitivity. Anthony Raspa, chosen as a trooper, also portrayed hard work, fearless execution of duty, strong work ethics, as well as loyalty to the New Jersey State Police.

  4. IntegrityIntegrity is a vital aspect of a leader's success. It acts as a key to trust and intellectual stimulation. Leaders should make sure that their organizations emphasize the value of integrity at different levels to create optimism in the team.

  5. TransparencyWhen a leader is transparent, workers become entirely honest with their opinions, and be able to speak out in public. This can result in healthy working interactions, hence connecting at a deeper level.

  6. Positive ThinkingHaving an enthusiastic leader who believes in their potential to succeed, will lead to increased level of productivity.

  7. CourageEveryone is courageous in carrying out certain tasks, but being a leader makes courage a must-have trait. A leader must have the courage to believe in others and let go of the need to control outcomes. Moreover, a leader must have the courage to discuss uncomfortable issues and take risks to achieve possible results.
