  6. Spring • The axis of the earth is tilted toward the sun • Marks the transition from Winter to Summer • Falls around March 21st in the Northern Hemisphere

  7. Signs of spring • Many plants bloom • Animals become more active • The soil has reached temperatures able to grow green again

  8. Summer • The axis of the earth remains tilted towards the sun • Warmest and humid season between spring and autumn • United States labels Summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day

  9. Signs of Summer • Plants continue to grow • Animals are active, especially humans • People go on vacations and enjoy the leisure time
