  3. Antiviral compound DB772 • 2-(2-benzimidazolyl)-5-[4-(2-imidazolino)phenyl]furan dihydrochloride

  4. Study aim The aim of this study was to test the in vivo efficacy of a novel antiviral compound (DB772) in the treatment of PI calves.

  5. Methods • 6 PI calves used in study • 4 calves treated with DB772 q8hr x 6d • 2 calves treated with diluent only • Samples collected for virus isolation, viral titration and qPCR
