  • 59 % of participants wish to purchase ITS-OBU.

  • Majority of them think they will do so when replace their car

If Yes, When would it be ?

Would you purchase an ITS-OBU ?

depends

As soon as

ITS-OBU is commercialized

Wish to purchase it to replace ETC-OBU or car navigation system I have

When replace

my car

Will not

Have neither ETC-OBU nor car navigation system, so wish to purchase new ITS-OBU

  • Condition for purchase of ITS-OBU of those who answered he/she would not purchase:

  • If ITS-OBU is cheap (or the same price as current car-navigation systems)

  • If the locations of these services are expanded (deployment of DSRC antenna to nationwide)

  • If service contents are enrich(enhancement of preciseness of information)
