  4. Steroids have been found in: • both athletes and non-athletes at the college level, high school level, middle school level • Olympic and professional sports • sports that rely on endurance: track-and-field and swimming

  5. Steroids have been found in:(cont.) • sports that rely on strength and size: football, wrestling, or baseball • weight training or bodybuilding

  11. Are the results worth the risk? • Steroids do not necessarily make someone a better athlete. • They do not improve skill or agility. • In the end, the damage that they cause outweighs the “good.”

  12. Safe Alternatives • maintain a healthy diet • good sleeping habits • set realistic goals • play smart and safe: safety gear and appropriate equipment • get a trainer or someone to oversee you and push you!
