  1. How Office Design Concepts Have Evolved Over the Years Although the origins of office design can be traced back to the Roman era, but then was almost forgotten. However with the passage of time and many centuries later things started changing again. To further Britain's interests abroad, organizations like the Royal Navy and East India Company were founded. In order to organize and handle their tremendously diverse activities, a central base of operations had to be established. In order to serve as the headquarters from which the East India Company managed its Indian interests, East India House was constructed in 1729 on Leadenhall Street in the City of London. Thousands of workers were stationed within the structure to handle the appropriate paperwork. Of course, the office designs today are much different from these ancient ones, but almost every office design company Singapore or elsewhere has to learn about these earlier office designs during their student lives as interior designers and architects. The modern offices of the early 20th century were the result of numerous influences. The connections between money and productivity at work. Electric illumination made it possible for workers to accomplish their jobs without costly gas lighting or plenty of windows. The processing of enormous volumes of information was made possible by calculators and typewriters. Telegraph and telephone technology made it possible to place office buildings far from enterprises, residences, and even the countries where they were operating while still maintaining control over them. Modern day Singapore is a far cry from the basic table and chair offices that simply satisfied the requirements of writing and keeping files and books. This is the reason that modern day office design company Singapore has to keep in mind international trends along with the ancient wisdom in the art and science of office interior design. Not just Singapore but other countries including developed and developing ones, have revolutionized the basic concepts of office design.
