FBA Winners Course Review: Does Tamara still bring her A-Game? So you’re looking at the FBA Winners Amazon Course created by Tamara Tee on YouTube but you’re not entirely sure. After all, there are many courses available. Selling on Amazon isn’t as easy as it used to be. I mean – there is plenty of meat still left there on the bone, but it’s going to require more work and capital. Luckily there are some content creators who share so much for free on YouTube. I mean – you’d really want to buy their course and get started today. When there are free FBA courses available, some people aren’t sure if they should spend the extra for a paid training course from a YouTuber.
In this review of FBA Winners, I’ll look at Tamara’s Amazon Course in detail. More importantly, if you should get started with her program today My opinion on Tamara Tee Just like you, I’ve been watching Tamara on YouTube these last 8 or so months. Now I’ve already been selling on Amazon since mid-2017 but I like learning more. That’s the thing about Amazon FBA. You really need to keep learning. I mean – you must take an Amazon course to learn the ropes initially. Afterwards, you then need to take action and continue increasing your skills. There are very few YouTubers that I follow. Most of them just aren’t engaging. More importantly, they don’t sell on FBA as much as they claim. You know, like the famous K_v_n D_v_d for instance… I just feel that I can relate more to Tamara than most others. In fact, I was able to quit my job thanks to selling on Amazon. More importantly, I like the truth bombs that she shares. Like this one: And she seriously shares a lot of free content. More than 90% of others. So you really get a feel for her as a communicator and teacher. You know like her teaching methodology and strategy. Plus the production quality of her videos and audio.
Often the next thing you’d want to do is join her course. So let’s get started with that one now. FBA Winners Course Opening this course up I saw some really seriously good content initially. Like it’s even better than what you’ll find on her YouTube channel. Pretty well the full blueprint on how to start selling on Amazon FBA. When you get inside, you’ll see exactly what I mean here. It’s worth it. It’s about 15 modules long. You just follow it along in order. Let’s go a little deeper with the modules here. Module 1 There is a short intro video before this one. But anyway she covers how to get the backend of things going. ● How to open up your Amazon Seller Central account ● Starts to make you think of a brand name and trading entity ● Opening a foreign exchange account if you’re outside the US ● The basics of using Alibaba for beginners (best part of this module) Pretty basic but also a bit technical too. I like that she has these elements upfront. Module 2 Here she talks more about engaging with suppliers. Her main gig is using Alibaba like many of the YouTubers out there. There are some secrets that she shares on how to get lower MOQs from suppliers. I don’t want to share them here but I learned a bit here. Module 3
We’re right into the product research side of things here. It’s actually a pretty extensive module of around 3 hours long. I don’t recommend binge-watching this part of FBA Winners as it’s where the best content really is. If you have distractions like kids, consider splitting this module across several days. You might feel a little overwhelmed. It’s not just Tamara’s course here and she’s done her best to convey her knowledge as easy as possible. Let’s go a little deeper with the modules here. If you have distractions like kids, consider splitting this module across several days. You might feel a little overwhelmed. It’s not just Tamara’s course here and she’s done her best to convey her knowledge as easy as possible. Beginners are just often a little overwhelmed with these concepts. After you’ve started making some progress with product research, then it all starts to sink in. Definitely the best part of the course by far and worth the $997 that you pay. Module 4 This module is much shorter. It only goes for like an hour or so but it’s an important one. Don’t skip it! Here Tamara talks about avoiding infringing on other people’s trademarks and patents. I think she had this experience herself in the early days if I recall correctly. Module 5 If you thought the last module was short, then this one is even shorter… ? But actually, it doesn’t need to be any longer. It’s a bit technical actually regarding UPC codes (aka barcodes) that need to be stuck on to your products by your Chinese suppliers. Module 6 Ok, I’ll admit that I was a bit bored in this module. It’s all on shipping and logistics. It really doesn’t matter who presents this stuff as it’s often a foreign concept to most beginners. Like I’ve gone through this stuff with other FBA courses so I know the content already. You don’t really need to master this stuff at all. While other modules you might want to go through a few times, the logistics of getting your products to Amazon is one that you only need to watch once only. Module 7
t’s a little odd that this module is later in the series. It should really be merged with the product research part (Module 3) because it’s all about calculating your profit margins. That said, Tamara does go into some great details here so you can maximize your profits. Her aim is always 20% after ad-spend which is great. After all, you want your product to actually bank some coin, not just break-even. Module 8 Another super-short module and one that could be merged later in the series. It’s probably something you can skip actually until you’re live on Amazon. Tamara talks in this module about hiring virtual assistants. Often you don’t need these until your business has a few products and you’re scaling up. Module 9 OK – I really liked this one. It’s about how to build your product listing. You can see that Tamara turns into quite the analytical person in this part of the training series. She talks about: ● Search engine optimization for Amazon product listings ● How to price your products so they actually sell ● Creating epic product photography without spending a fortune This part of the training is fun and engaging. Like you can tell she genuinely sells on Amazon too through her knowledge in this module. Module 10 A big part of selling on Amazon is the product reviews because these can help you obtain more future sales. Like you probably knew that already, but how do you get reviews without breaking Terms of Service? Tamara gives us a very white-hat approach here.
I’ve noticed that she also updated this module a few times since it was initially created. It’s great that she’s making sure her course content isn’t going out of date since Amazon is often moving the needle here. Module 11 When you’re starting on Amazon, a big problem is the product launch. Like you’re the new kid on the block and no one really knows you. Your product could sit on page 807 if you don’t launch it properly. This is why you need a course like Tamara’s. Again she gets a bit analytical here on how to ensure your product is found both organically and also through discount campaigns. This way you can recoup your initial investment as soon as possible. The thing about watching YouTubers and their free content are that they rarely show anything about PPC. This is yet another reason why you need to buy a course. …and man, I was blown away by the knowledge that Tamara has in this field. Again, she’s quite the analytical type when it comes to running effective advertising campaigns. This way you don’t waste money on ad-spend which doesn’t convert into sales.
