  1. Income Tax e-Filing: E-Verify ITR using Aadhaar Card E-Verifying ITR is a last step of filing returns and lots of things have been changed this year which every individual should know to avoid any problems in future. According to the latest tax laws your ITR is invalid until it will not be verified by the assessee. A taxpayer can verify it either electronically using EVC (E-Verification code) by using any one of the multiple options or physically. EVC (Electronic Verification Code) is generally a 10-digital alpha numeric code which can be generated using various methods. The EVC could be used to verify ITR 1 (Sahaj) / ITR 2 / ITR 2A / ITR 3 / ITR 4 / ITR 4S (Sugam). EVC remains valid for 72 hours but can be generated various times through various modes. E-Verifying using Aadhaar: We will discuss step by step to e-verifying the ITR using Aadhaar. 1) The first step is to link your Aadhaar to PAN.
