  1. Why Dissolved Air Flotation is the Right Choice Companies looking for the best way to treat wastewater often choose a system that uses DAF, which stands for Dissolved Air Flotation. Its popularity is due to it being one of the most reliable systems that can purify water in a safe manner without any hygiene concerns. Aerofloat is a staunch supporter of DAF systems but saw an opportunity to improve it. After many years of refinement, we have come up with our own “AeroDAF” system, which uses patented design in order to give businesses a DAF system that needs less maintenance and costs less. Our system is also smaller in size, which makes it popular for businesses within crammed cities where any extra space is highly valuable. Learning how a DAF system works

  2. There is a simple explanation as to the popularity of Dissolved Air Flotation. It’s used by so many businesses since it uitilises a natural process to remove contaminating elements from water. The wastewater goes into a DAF tank, which then uses pressurised dissolved air that forms millions of small bubbles. These bubbles then carry the contaminants to the top of the tank, while leaving the clean water at the bottom. Typically, a DAF system will use a mechanical scraper in order to remove the top layer of gunk in order to allow the clean water to be accessed. The big difference when it comes to our AeroDAF system is that it doesn’t have a mechanical arm that scrapes the sludge away. With less moving parts, it allows for the system to require less maintenance over time while still cleaning water efficiently. AeroDAF is smaller than normal DAF systems but that doesn’t mean it can’t treat large amounts of water. Our base system, which is called Model Fifty, is able to treat 3,000 litres of wastewater per hour, and our Model 800 is able to treat 50,000 litres in an hour. We are able to scale our systems to whatever a company needs thanks to our modular system. If you want even more information on how AeroDAF works and why it’s a great choice for treating wastewater, check out this video that goes over it in detail.

  3. Dissolved Air Flotation is the right fit for most companies Businesses have to choose the wastewater management system that is right for them and Aerofloat offers several different types, but DAFF is the most popular choice due to all of the advantages it offers businesses. These perks include: 1)Low maintenance. You won’t have to worry about the system breaking down and needing extra work due to less moving parts. AeroDAF is able to keep costs down in the long run thanks to our unique system. 2)Keeping odour out. Our sealed system means that no odour will get out and you won’t smell the wastewater. Not only does this eliminate hygiene concerns, our system ensures that wastewater doesn’t harm the environment. These advantages are why the AeroDAF system is a highly popular among small businesses, those that deal with food, and those located within cities.
