  4. 4 Training Centre Guidelines “I call upon the nation to take a pledge to make India the skill capital of the world”- P. M. Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has seen a vision to skill the Indian Youths. And in this line, on 15 July 2015 he has launched a scheme known as PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) scheme. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana(PMKVY)scheme has been launched in India with the vision to provide skill Training to 1 core Indian Youths and make them capable for working for the various job fields. The Target is very big, and to achieve this target, government is offering Training Centers to be the part of the PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana). Who are PMKVY Training Centers? PMKVY Training Centers are the one whose work is to provide quality training to the candidates. But to be a training center of PMKVY, it is important to make sure that training centers can stand up in the criteria of to be a Training Center.

  5. 5 Criteria for being a Training Center include: Construction of reception area, director’s room, placement room and counseling room, class room, library and laboratory, separate washroom for male and female. Then the next thing is facility of first aid kit, fire extinguish equipments, facility of clean drinking water and at the same time dustbin in all the necessary areas. The minimum space required for opening a PMKVY center is 1500 sq. feet. Once the training center has these entire things he can open his Training Center.
