  2. Prp Treatment For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition that affects the quality of life of patients. Carpal tunnel syndrome is found in 3-6% of the adult population. Some CTS resolves spontaneously, but many require treatment. Unfortunately, many modern treatments offer only temporary relief to their patients. Potential problems caused by CTS cannot be resolved.

  3. What Causes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Compression can be caused by repetitive motion, injury, swelling of the muscles around the carpal tunnel, or a mass. It is more likely to occur in people who overuse their hands in playing sports or at work. It is known to be common in many women during pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause, but the cause is unknown, and it is called idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome.

  4. Prp Treatment For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome PRP treatment uses a special PRP tube to draw blood, similar to a blood draw and introduces concentrated platelets from the blood into the carpal tunnel area.  Platelets have growth and healing factors. When concentrated by simple centrifugation, the plasma becomes “rich” in healing factors, therefore the name Platelet RICH Plasma.
