Sometimes, modern advanced technologies are also used in place of a spring. Most of the time, it is used as a toy. It is also used as exercise equipment and also as an extreme sports device. A jumper stick is also known as a pogo stick. It led to an extreme sport as well, which is known as extreme pogo or pogo. How These Sticks Get Made? Pogo stick gets composed of a pole with a handle at the top and the footrests near the bottom. A spring is located at someplace between the pole. The spring is the joining element between the two parts of the pole, extending below the footpads. How Does It Work? A jumper places its foot over the pogo stick's footpads whilst balancing on the pole and with the bending action of the knees either adds or subtracts energy into the

When the spring is at full compression or extension, the spring's recoil lifts the jumper above the ground into the air by several inches or sometimes by several feet. The jumper has to repeat this process to attain a periodic bounce.
