  1. Anxiety and stress in a more elaborative way:- Nearly everyone is suffering from anxiety nowadays. Anxiety can trigger you anywhere and at any point in time. For example, you might feel anxious while you are giving the presentation, going somewhere and there can be many reasons. Anxiety Disorder:- A lot of people are facing stress and tensions due to the changing scenarios in business and work life. However, these stress and tensions should not interfere with your activities of daily routine. But when worry begins to interfere with the ability to perform daily activities, it has taken the shape of a disorder. Anxiety disorder is the most common type of mental illness that is being faced by people all across the globe. Each year nearly about 18 percent of adults suffer from an anxiety disorder. This is an umbrella term that includes all types of anxiety disorders such as generalized disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety, and phobias. Among Americans, the most common type of anxiety disorder is generalized anxiety disorder. This type of disorder is characterized by a pervasive sense of worry about a wide variety of things. Phobias are also common among adults. One of the most common types of phobia is agoraphobia. Agoraphobia means fear of going out or being in crowds. For instance, at some point in life, you feel that anxiety disorders are interfering and hampering your daily life, you should seek out professional help rather than struggling with yourself. There are a lot of people who are having problems in their relationship, experts at that point of time become the most comfortable and suitable person with whom you can share out your feelings. Start participating in therapies:- This is the first line and is considered to be the best treatment for someone dealing with anxiety. There are a lot of therapies, but the most common among them is cognitive-behavioral therapy. Moreover, there is a myth with this therapy that is it is not useful for adults. But when you actually see the therapy interventions for older adults, you will see higher response rates as compared to the younger adults. Be informed about the medications:- It is important to note down that some anti-anxiety drugs can be addiction-forming and impairs down cognitive functioning. Alternatives of anti-depressants are also available in the market. They are effective across the spectrum of anxiety disorders and are most adults are tolerating. Avoid Isolation:- It is advisable not to sit in isolation. You should try to get together with family and friends as much you can do. Moreover, if you are working out with other people, it can also help you to alleviate isolation. Surround yourself with the pets:- Experts suggest that pets can be extremely calming. In fact, they can be life- saving. However, if you are not having a pet at your home you need to ask the doctor about the places or programs that can bring an animal to you.

You can set out a timer for one minute, can sit on the chair, and press your feet on the floor. You need to take 10 deep breathes while you are focusing on breathing.
