  1. The Process of Replication of Oracle Database

  2. Database replication is the process where data from the source is replicated and stored in another location. The main benefit here is that the accessibility to data by users is increased many times over across the network. Replication of databases are possible both in servers and stand-alone computers. This data may be stored in on or off-site, in cloud-based hosts, and even within the same system. Most of the top database technologies such as Oracle database or Microsoft SQL Server have built-in features that allow easy replication. If this feature is not present, you can choose from several replication software. 

  3. There are specialized tools/methods for Oracle database replicationprocess. · In the first method, triggers are so configured that they are executed when pre-determined events occur. One of the most common trigger configurations during Oracle database replication happens when a table is modified. During this time, a record is inserted into another table to replicate the Oracle data through a custom code to a target database. Unless the triggers are completed, the transactions in the database will not be successful.

  4. Another method entails taking the full dump of the table to be replicated at fixed periods to generate a snapshot of the required format. This dump file is then used to load another table into a separate data warehouse or to take forward any other customized transformation. • The third is the Oracle Golden Gate CDC used for everything related to ETL in Oracle database replication. The benefit here is real-time support to multiple target databases through its handlers and transformation of data while loading a target database. • The right method for Oracle database replication depends on the specific needs of organizations.
