  1. Debunking Some Common Skincare Myths for Men • It's high time that you know the truth of the men's skincare routine. Most of the men know only a thing or so about skincare. When you're clueless about skincare, you either follow an incorrect skincare routine, or you don't follow it at all!  • It's indispensable to get the men skincare facts right. So, here we go out and about debunking some men skincare myths!

  2. Myth 1 - Washing your face more and more will make your skin better.  • And, that's a big no! In no dreams, your skin will get better if you wash your face again and again. Over washing can dry out your skin and lead to the production of excess oil. For normal skin type, wash your face once, and oily skin wash it out twice a day or so. • We recommend you to use our Volcanic Face Wash that keeps skin oil-free, removes excessive oil, dirt and more. It's best for your daily skincare routine.

  3. Myth 2 - Men don't need moisturiser • This skincare myth for men just doesn't make sense! Man or woman, both the skins need hydration. Without proper hydration, your skin will produce excess oil and abandon you with clogged pores. • Also, if you think your skin is oily and you don't need a moisturizer, then that's not right. Whatever your skin type is – nourishment and hydration are much needed. • So, make sure you apply a men's moisturizer every day as a part of your skincare routine.

  4. Myth 3 - Using bar soap on the face is good • Using soap on your face? Not a good idea! • If you are washing your face with bar soap, then you are making your face dry and irritated. And, dryness can turn into tight skin, flakiness and other skin issues before you even know. • Soaps strip off the natural oils from your skin, causing redness. So it's best to opt for a face wash that is gentle and detoxifies your skin.   Recommended Read: Tips for choosing the right body soap for men.

  5. Myth 4 - Acne only occurs in teens • If you are using numerous skincare products, are stressed, or have hormonal fluctuations in your body - you can get acne. Acne is not an occurrence in teens-only; anyone with stated concerns is prone to acne, irrespective of age. • For those men who have significant acne issue, they can consult a dermatologist and get proper treatment. Besides that, the best is to use a face wash that fights acne.

  6. Myth 5 - Face masks are only for women • Many men believe that face masks are not a men thing and they are only for women. • However, that's not the truth. You can find a suitable men's face mask for you online as well.
