  2. Who We Are? Advanced Amorphous Technology was founded in 2016 and is a hi-tech company engaged in R&D. We are basically an amorphous core manufacturer as well as a supplier in India where we manufacture advanced materials to be a high-quality supplier for amorphous and latching relay materials. Advanced Amorphous Technology (AAT) produces distributed gap wound amorphous cores for the distribution transformer industry. AAT manufactures amorphous cores as per customer specifications for ratings from 10KVA to 1000KVA from its newly established state of the art facility at Khushkhera, Rajasthan. Our works is spread on an area of 6000 sq m with built-up space of 2000 sq m.

Amorphous Metals Distribution Transformers (1) Amorphous Core Distribution Transformers are the Next Generation Distribution Transformers that contribute to enormous energy savings to the Utilities and the Nation. These transformers have almost 60- 70% fewer No Load Losses compared to that the equivalent grade of CRGO distribution transformers. (2) Since Distribution Transformers are designed to operate at a maximum efficiency at about 50-60% of the full load, based on the average all-day efficiency, the resultant savings by the usage of AMD’s save an enormous amount in terms of losses in the distribution transformers. (3) No Load Losses occur from the moment the DTRs are energized and keep occurring 24 x 7 in the system throughout the life of the distribution transformer and any savings in No Load Losses have an immense economic benefit to the utility. (4) It may be noted that Amorphous Core Transformers are being manufactured in India since 1995 and it is now two decades that these transformers are being used in India by Various State Utilities.

  4. Advantages of amorphous core transformer Ease in repair: It doesn’t have any complex mechanism, thus, it facilitates ease and rapid repair. Moreover, due to modular design also it helps in easy repair. Less no-load losses: In AMT’s the no-load losses are probably 20-30% less when compared with traditional silicon sheet transformers, where no-load losses repeatedly occur for a lifetime regardless of a load of the transformer. Improved overload capacity: The other key merit is that it produces less heat because the no-load loss is also less, this results in sustaining overload capacity in a better way. Consequently, it results in a longer product life shell. Better distribution efficiency: Since no-load loss is quite less, it promotes higher distribution efficiency. In addition to it, this will also save your monetary investments in maintenance breakdown. Environmental caretaker: It can be said as eco-friendly to some extent as it emits lower carbon dioxide and sulfate dioxide, therefore, protecting the environment from such harmful gases. Sustaining short circuits: The amorphous metal transformers have a higher strength of sustaining short circuits due to its windings and usage of foils.
