  1. All You Need to Know About Snort Zoloft

  2. Zoloft (sertraline) is a common prescription antidepressant that can be abused. People who inhale Zoloft or use it incorrectly with other drugs are at increased risk of dangerous side effects, including suicidal thoughts, coma, and death from overdose. • Zoloft (sertraline) is a very common prescription antidepressant used to treat symptoms of mental health conditions such as major depressive disorder, anxiety, post-traumatic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

  3. When used in accordance with medical advice, Zoloft is highly effective and does not cause negative effects, such as cravings, and can be used safely in the long term. • However, Zoloft can be abused through methods such as snorting or using intravenous drugs. These methods have their own negative physical effects. • Because the amount of the drug is not prescribed or regulated properly, abuse of this drug can cause dependence, withdrawal, and serious side effects, including death.

  4. Why Snort Zoloft? • Zoloft is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is similar to Prozac like this class of drug. It produces feelings of calm and in some people creates an elevated mood with feelings of energy and euphoria. The effects vary by individual. • People may inhale Zoloft out of curiosity, out of a misinformed idea that it will enter the system and quickly produce effects like crushed Xanax. They can inhale Zoloft when they feel the need for antidepressant effects more quickly. • When inhaled, Zoloft does not produce feelings of euphoria or a sudden surge of antidepressant relief, as people may think.

  5. However, Zoloft still has a potential for abuse through other methods such as intravenous use or self-medicating more of the drug than prescribed. • Zoloft helps increase serotonin in the brain, which makes the person feel good. Someone with a prescription for Zoloft may believe that "more is better" or that they need the drug to enter their system quickly and may experiment with alternative methods of ingestion.

  6. Effects of inhaling Zoloft • Inhaling Zoloft is not known to produce a high sensation or give the person the ability to feel the effects more acutely. • However, there are reports of similar effects to stimulants, including the euphoria from crushing and swallowing pills or intravenous use. • Snort Zoloft can produce very unpleasant physical effects, including intense burning when breathed in.

  7. Risk of overdose • Although the lethal dose of Zoloft is 2000 mg per kilogram of body weight, the possibility of an overdose and the use of other drugs with Zoloft can produce dangerous and deadly effects. • Snorting the drug in excess along with excessive use of oral Zoloft can cause an overdose. Some of these symptoms may be the result of serotonin syndrome, which occurs when the body has an excess of serotonin in the system.
