Who am I? • Critical human geographer working at the intersection of several fields/debates (housing and financialization; urban vacancy and grassroots politics; sexualities and HIV; lifecourse and subject formation) • Most of my work is rooted in Anglo-American scholarship and relies on qualitative research • Editor of Social & Cultural Geography, previously ACME, edited 4 special issues, 2 volumes, currently editing 2 handbooks (De Gruyter; Routledge) • Published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals (e.g. Antipode; Cities; DHG; EPC; Geoforum; GPC; IJURR; TIBG)

Beyond strengthening your knowledge of fundamental concepts and contributions, the course aims at developing/reinforcing your public speaking skills and confidence together with your analytical skills. For each session one student will be designated to introduce the reading(s). The introduction will be followed by a debate under the coordination of a senior academic.
